Dr. Michelle Beck
Michelle Beck joined the staff of Backlund Animal Clinic in 2008 as the practice's second veterinarian. Dr. Michelle grew up in Omaha and is a graduate of Millard West High school. She earned a Bachelor of Science at the Pre-Veterinary Medicine Program at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. In 2007, she graduated from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Michelle's first job after veterinary school was at Sylvania Vet in Sylvania, Ohio.
Dr. Michelle attended the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, a partner of Colorado State University, in 2008. She was the first Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) in Nebraska.
Dr. Michelle is committed to advancing her education and abilities to treat animals. In 2011, she became certified in veterinary acupuncture (CVA) through the International Academy of Veterinary Medical Acupuncture, in association with Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.
